We propose a wide choice of activities to do in the surrounding areas: 

• Scuba diving for beginners or experienced, don’t hesitate to ask Ben
• Stand up Paddle in the mangroves at Ile aux Cerfs, away from the tourist areas
• Kite surf from May to October, there is a lot of wind on the east coast during this period
• Discover the lagoon on the east coast from Trou d’Eau Douce to Mahebourg
• Horse rides on the beaches in Belle Mare and Palmar
• The Domaine de l’Etoile and Vallée de Ferney are two exceptional preserved sites to discover the fauna and flora typical in Mauritius
• Traditional local market

Please don’t hesitate to explore the villages on the east coast on foot, by bicycle, by scooter or by car as they have yet been untouched and you can still meet the local inhabitants and share their culture. You can also taste the typical snacks sold in the streets such as chilli bites, dhollpuri, faratha, halim….
